In this time period the Germans was used tear gas shells against the Russians at Bolimov and tanks are used for the first time by the British at Flers, France, Also David Lloyd George becomes prime minister and a massive flu epidermic reaches Britain.

In 1915, Jeanne Lanvin made an old labeled dress in Paris, a Black cotton and velvet dress with a hassled sash. The big collar recreates a sense importance. Buttons was applied from the wrist to the elbow.
An evening dress which would normally be worn to parties for a dance and a drink. This translucent dress is a salmon, peach coloured with rhinestones to add a bit of sparkle under the dance lights so they could catch a mans eye and a waist band to create a small waist. It was made by Edward Molyneux who was french in 1925-1927.
A classic Evening dress which was made in 1914-1925 in Madrid. which is a beautiful gold colour which has been decorated with beads and sequins and reflects an interest in the Eastern religion. The dress is silk tulle, and mid-calf length with a rounded neckline to leave room on the neck and check for big sparkly necklace.
A casual, dark blue dress which would have been worn around 1915 in America. Mainly made from satin with silk chiffon over the main dress. To decorate the look classic dress, embroidery and beads have been added to create berry's, flower's and leaves. To finish the look a matching coloured head piece with an oversized feather is worn.
